Poco Lee charged with attempted rape, four other sexual offences in UK

Nigerian dancer and entertainer Iweh Odinaka, widely known as Poco Lee, faces five sexual offense charges in the United Kingdom, according to Snaresbrook Crown Court in London.
The charges include one count of attempted rape, two counts of rape, and two counts of assault by penetration. Confirmatory statements regarding these charges were made by James Baker, an Administrative Team Leader at the court, to Nigerian media outlets.
A plea and trial preparation hearing is set for September 15, 2026, during which Poco Lee is expected to enter his plea. In accordance with the UK’s Sexual Offences Amendment Act 1992, the court has enacted reporting restrictions to safeguard the identity of the complainant.
This development follows prior reports indicating that UK authorities were investigating allegations of sexual offenses against the entertainer. At this stage, the charges are still allegations, and Poco Lee is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
