Police fix April 28–30 for constable recruitment exam in Benue

Benue State Police to Conduct Recruitment Examinations April 28-30
MAKURDI, Nigeria — The Benue State Police Command has announced that written examinations for successful applicants in the ongoing Police Constable Recruitment will take place from April 28 to April 30, 2026, at Government Model Secondary School in Makurdi.
The announcement was made in a statement issued by Udeme Edet, the Police Public Relations Officer, on behalf of the Commissioner of Police for Benue State. This examination marks the next phase for candidates who have successfully completed the recent physical and credentials screening.
Organized by the Police Service Commission in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force, the examination will accommodate both General Duty and Specialist applicants from the state.
Applicants are instructed to visit the official recruitment portal to print their updated Examination Invitation Card, which includes their specific exam date, time, and additional details. Those who printed slips with earlier dates should reprint using the updated information.
Candidates must bring their printed invitation card, National Identification Number (NIN) slip with a clear photograph, a pen, and are required to wear a white T-shirt, white shorts, and white canvas shoes.
The command has emphasized that the recruitment process is free of charge and cautioned applicants against engaging with fraudsters who may solicit payment for assistance. It also stated that individuals attempting to exploit applicants will face arrest and prosecution.
