Hannah Hogue  Arkansas

Co-Offensive Player of the Week

Madison Scheer  Auburn
OH • So. Eureka, Mo.

Auburn’s Madison Scheer, a sophomore outside hitter from Eureka, Mo., averaged 5.33 points and 5.00 kills per set and hit .304 over the two road wins at Georgia and Alabama this past weekend. Scheer tied her career high of 24 kills in the five-set win over the Bulldogs on Friday. She then recorded 21 kills in the four-set win on Sunday against the Crimson Tide for her third consecutive 20+ kill performance.

Co-Offensive Player of the Week

Morghan Fingall  Tennessee
RS • Gr. Fairfax, Va.

Tennessee’s Morgahn Fingall, a graduate student right side from Fairfax, Va., averaged 5.00 points and 4.57 kills per set and had a .324 hitting percentage in the wins over Missouri and Texas A&M this past week. Fingall finished with a match-high 17 kills on Wednesday night against the Tigers. Against the Aggies on Sunday, she led all players with 15 kills on a .419 hitting percentage to help the Lady Vols earn the sweep.

Defensive Player of the Week

Yelianiz Torres  Tennessee
L • Gr. Vega Baja, Puerto Rico

Tennessee’s Yelianiz Torres, a graduate student libero from Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, led Lady the Vol defense that held opponents .161 hitting on the week after averaging 5.43 digs per set in the wins over Missouri and Texas A&M this past week. Torres led all players in digs in both matches. She posted with 21 digs, four assists and one ace versus the Tigers and 17 digs and two assists against the Aggies.

Setter of the Week

Hannah Houge  Arkansas
S • Jr. Loveland, Ohio

Arkansas’ Hannah Hogue, a junior from Fort Smith, Ark., helped the Razorback offense to two road wins this past weekend for the team’s third consecutive 20-win season. On Friday, Hogue contributed 48 assists, nine digs and three aces in the four-set win at South Carolina. She then registered 31 assists and a team-high 10 digs in the sweep at No. 19 Florida, Arkansas’ first-ever win in Gainesville.

Freshman of the Week

Carolyn Kerr  Tennessee
S • Fr. Champaign, Ill.

Tennessee’s Caroline Kerr, a redshirt freshman setter from Champaign, Ill., tallied 73 assists, 21 digs, four blocks and three kills over seven sets, helping the Lady Vols go 2-0 on the week with wins at Missouri and against Texas A&M. Kerr posted her fourth double-double of the season during the win against the Tigers, notching 40 assists, 15 digs and three blocks. Against the Aggies, she finished with 33 assists and six digs to help UT earn the sweep.
