Serie A: Chukwueze set for injury layoff after hip problem
AC Milan winger Samuel Chukwueze is expected to be out for several weeks due to a hip injury, according to reports from DAILY POST.
The Nigerian international was unable to participate in Wednesday morning’s training session in preparation for Milan’s UEFA Europa League match against Premier League club Bournemouth.
Sport Mediaset has indicated that Chukwueze will visit a specialist to assess the severity of his condition.
Chukwueze has made a strong start to the season under head coach Ruben Amorim, having returned from a loan stint with Fulham. So far, the winger has recorded two assists in eight appearances across all competitions for the Serie A side this season.
