Singer Boye Best laments fake love among gospel ministers

Nigerian gospel singer Adeyinka Adeboye, known professionally as Boye Best, has expressed concerns over what he perceives as insincerity among colleagues in the gospel music industry. His remarks came during a tribute event for the late singer Toluwanisings, which included a service of songs held in Ibadan on Tuesday evening.
The event, attended by Boye Best and various other artists, was organized to honor Toluwanisings, who was a well-regarded figure in the gospel music community. Following the tribute, Boye Best, a close associate of the deceased, took to his Instagram stories to address the issue of “fake love” he sees among gospel ministers.
In his posts, he urged his fellow artists, whom he referred to as “brethren,” to be vigilant against insincerity, stating emphatically, “They don’t love you. They don’t, Brethren. So so fake love.”
