Ifeoluwa Olowoporoku, an 18-year-old footballer from Nigeria, has officially signed with Swedish club IFK Göteborg, the DAILY POST reports.
Olowoporoku has agreed to a three-year contract with the 18-time Allsvenskan champions after transferring from Tripple 44 Football Academy. The playmaker will be integrated into the first team, where he will train and compete alongside his new teammates.
In addition, he will also have the opportunity to play with the club’s U-19 and U-21 squads.
Olowoporoku is the latest in a line of players from the Tripple 44 Football Academy to move to European football. He follows in the footsteps of former Flying Eagles midfielder Abel Ogwuche, as well as Emmanuel Godwin and Ibrahim Adewale, who have made similar transitions in recent years.
