UNL: ‘What goes around comes around’ – Ronaldo’s sister, Elma warns Jesus over brother’s treatment

Cristiano Ronaldo’s recent departure from the Portugal national football team has sparked controversy, particularly with remarks from his sister, Elma Aveiro, who claimed her brother was “betrayed.”

The forward left the team camp ahead of a UEFA Nations League match against Denmark. According to journalist Edu Aguirre, Ronaldo’s exit was influenced by Portugal’s head coach, Jorge Jesus, who had assured the player he would apologize for his earlier handling of Ronaldo during the team’s preparations for a match against Norway.

On the program El Chiringuito TV, Aguirre stated that Jesus instructed Ronaldo to prepare for the Norway match but failed to substitute him in. When the coach did not deliver on his promise of an apology during a subsequent media appearance, it reportedly led to Ronaldo’s decision to withdraw from the team.

Elma Aveiro reacted strongly to the situation on social media, labeling it as a betrayal and warning those involved about the concept of karma. In an Instagram post, she stated, “Betrayal is a dish best served cold, and what goes around comes around. The only way is the way forward.”

Ronaldo has indicated that he will provide details concerning his departure from the national team in the coming days. Following this incident, fans are left speculating about the future of the legendary player, with some suggesting that he may consider retirement.
