FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (May 12, 2023) – The championship game of the 2023 SEC Softball Tournament has been moved to 2 p.m. CT and will air live on ESPN.
The 2023 SEC Softball Tournament final will feature No. 10 seed South Carolina and No. 1 seed Tennessee at Bogle Park. Gates will open at 1 p.m. CT, one hour prior to first pitch.
South Carolina became the lowest seed in SEC history to reach the championship final game. It will mark the fifth time the Gamecocks have reached the title game in program history, previously earning the SEC Tournament title in 1997 and 2000.
Tennessee is looking to become the 13th regular-season champion to win the SEC Softball Tournament. The Lady Vols have made three appearances in the softball title game, claiming the crown in 2006 and 2011.
