ABUJA — Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, along with Governors Charles Soludo of Anambra and Ademola Adeleke of Osun, attended the inauguration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council on Wednesday.

Despite their affiliations with different political parties, Wike, Soludo, and Adeleke were named coordinators for the APC campaign in Rivers, the Federal Capital Territory, Anambra, and Osun states, respectively. The announcement was made in a list released on Tuesday.

During the event held at the State Banquet Hall, APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda commended the party’s extensive structure and influence. “No political party in Nigeria has our structure. We have over 261,000 party executives at all levels, from national to ward,” Yilwatda stated.

He further highlighted that the APC boasts 31 governors, in addition to two supportive representatives from the Accord and APGA parties in the Southwest and Southeast regions.

Yilwatda also lauded President Bola Tinubu’s administration for its achievements during its first three years, asserting that “never before has a president demonstrated achievements in terms of policies and projects that can be visibly touched, felt, seen, and heard like President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”

The inauguration was attended by several high-profile figures, including President Bola Tinubu, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas, lawmakers, state governors, and other notable political representatives.
