‘Wizkid snubbed me, Davido changed my life in two seconds’ – Carter Efe

Nigerian comedian and content creator Carter Efe recently discussed his experiences with prominent music stars Wizkid and Davido, revealing a stark contrast in their support during pivotal moments in his career.

In an interview, Carter expressed gratitude for Davido’s assistance during a challenging period in his life, emphasizing that he would continue to publicly acknowledge the singer’s contributions. “I’ll keep praising Davido everywhere I go,” he stated.

Carter criticized Wizkid, claiming the artist did not respond to a song he had created for him, which he described as a significant personal snub. “I did a song for Wizkid, that guy snubbed my whole life,” he remarked.

In contrast, he highlighted how Davido’s timely support changed the trajectory of his life. “Davido came to my life and changed my life in two seconds,” Carter said, acknowledging the unexpected nature of the singer’s help.

Recognizing the disparity in their interactions, Carter noted he never expected to connect personally with Davido. “Who am I to say I want to sit down with Davido? I’m too small, but David shows me love,” he said.

Carter characterized Davido’s support as a transformative moment, stating, “He came through. He’s just like a God-sent when things were going down for me.”
