‘You have two hours’ — Carter Efe threatens VDM, issues warning over petitions

Nigerian social media streamer Carter Efe has issued a threat to fellow activist VeryDarkMan, also known as VDM, demanding that he prepare petitions against him across all 36 states of Nigeria within a two-hour deadline. The incident was captured in a video posted online, in which Efe directed explicit language toward VeryDarkMan and made derogatory remarks about his mother.
In the video, Efe warned VeryDarkMan not to attempt to undermine him, stating, “If you don’t bring me down, your mother will die. Anything your mother seeks in this life, she will not find. I swear to God who made me.” He went further to threaten VeryDarkMan’s mother, saying, “If care is not taken, they will send boys after your mother.”
Efe reiterated his demand for petitions to be filed within the given timeframe, challenging VeryDarkMan to use the documents against him. “I give you two hours, write every petition for the full 36 states. If I don’t use your petition paper for suya, call me a bastard,” he stated in the video.
The threats have raised concerns among social media users and observers regarding the escalating tensions between the two individuals.
