‘2027 already concluded’ - Gov Sani vows to give Tinubu 95 percent of Kaduna votes
Kaduna Governor Confident of Tinubu’s Victory in 2027 Election
Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani expressed strong confidence in President Bola Tinubu’s prospects for the 2027 presidential election, asserting that victory in the state is assured. Sani made these comments on Tuesday during the inauguration of the 122-kilometer Kaduna-Birnin Gwari Road project, where he also commended the President for reportedly making unprecedented investments in Northern Nigeria.
Sani emphasized Kaduna’s role as the political and economic heart of the North, noting that its development benefits the entire region. “I want to assure you that Kaduna is the capital of Northern Nigeria. Everyone is proud of Kaduna. Kaduna’s development is the development for all the states of Northern Nigeria,” he said.
During the event, Sani thanked Tinubu for acknowledging Kaduna’s strategic significance and pledged ongoing political support. “We are grateful to the President for recognizing that Kaduna is the heart of Northern Nigeria. We will continue to support him,” he stated.
The governor further predicted a decisive electoral win for Tinubu in Kaduna, forecasting that the President would receive at least 95 percent of the votes cast. “I have no doubt in my mind that the 2027 election has already been concluded. We are giving Mr. President at least 95% of the total votes,” he declared.
Sani reiterated prior claims that no Nigerian president has undertaken as many development projects in Northern Nigeria as Tinubu. Reflecting on earlier statements, he noted that his assessments have remained unchallenged.
“When I stated about two months ago that no president in the history of Nigeria has done what President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has done for Northern Nigeria, I invited counterarguments, but none have emerged,” he said.
He pointed to several ongoing projects throughout the North as evidence of Tinubu’s commitment to the region, questioning why previous administrations had not initiated similar efforts. “Why did other leaders not do what President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is doing today for Northern Nigeria? Was it that Northern Nigeria was not a priority for them?” Sani asked.
In closing, he expressed gratitude to the President “for the love of the North, for the love of humanity, for the love of progress.”
