Wanted kidnap suspect arrested over alleged attack on POS operator in Adamawa

Troops Arrest Suspected Kidnapper in Adamawa State
Troops have apprehended a suspected kidnapper linked to an attack on a Point-of-Sale (POS) operator in the Song Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
The arrest occurred on April 21 at approximately 10:35 a.m. during a covert operation conducted by the 232 Battalion (Tactical) as part of Operation HADIN KAI in Loko village. Security analyst Zagazola Makama reported the developments on social media platform X.
Authorities have identified the suspect as one of the individuals involved in a March 12 attack targeting a POS operator in the region. Preliminary investigations indicate that he was on the Department of State Services’ wanted list due to alleged involvement in kidnapping activities.
Following his arrest, the suspect was transferred to the DSS for further investigation and potential prosecution. In response to this incident, security operations in the area are being intensified to locate additional members of the suspected criminal network who remain at large.
