Insecurity: President, govs, senators move like they don’t care – Prophet Odumeje spits fire [VIDEO]

Religious Leader Criticizes Government’s Handling of Security Crisis

Chukwuemeka Cyril Ohanaemere, the General Overseer of the Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry, known as Odumeje, criticized the administration of President Bola Tinubu for its handling of Nigeria’s escalating security challenges.

During a live service, Odumeje expressed concern over the increasing incidents of violence, including killings and abductions, affecting ordinary citizens. He pointed out that while the public suffers from insecurity, government officials travel in bulletproof vehicles.

“All citizens have equal rights and should be entitled to bulletproof vehicles if that is the only way to be safe,” he stated, asserting that national resources belong to the people.

Odumeje specifically referenced the recent rise in kidnappings, noting that voters are left vulnerable while politicians engage in election campaigns. He lamented the disconnect between leaders and the public, saying, “One person and his family are just enjoying the resources of Nigeria.”

He stressed that the elite, including the president and lawmakers, often remain insulated from the country’s security crises, while citizens face grave dangers. “Many of our children are kidnapped and are currently in the bush… Who are you deceiving?” he asked.

Odumeje’s remarks highlight a growing frustration among citizens regarding the government’s failure to address security issues effectively. “They are busy campaigning for the next position they will occupy, even when the people who voted for them are in the bush,” he continued.

He concluded with a call for accountability, challenging the government’s response to criminal demands. “How can a bandit be making requests from the government?” he remarked.
