Adamawa State Appoints New Commandant for NSCDC
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has appointed Nasiru Saleh as the new commandant for its Adamawa State command, succeeding Idris Bande.
In a statement following his appointment, Saleh expressed his gratitude to Commandant General Ahmed Abubakar Audi for the opportunity to lead the Adamawa State Command. He emphasized his commitment to building on the achievements of his predecessor by focusing on operational effectiveness, intelligence-driven policing, the protection of critical national assets, personnel welfare, and community engagement.
According to Amidu Baba, the Public Relations Officer for the state command, Saleh brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having served in various operational and administrative positions within the NSCDC prior to this appointment. He is the 16th commandant to lead the NSCDC in Adamawa State.
