Olamilekan Adedayo Undecided on Future Amid Injury Recovery
Olamilekan Adedayo has not yet determined his next career move, despite speculation regarding a potential return to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
Currently, Adedayo is recovering from an undisclosed injury, which has delayed any decisions about his future. His contract with the Sky Blue Stars is set to expire in December.
In a recent statement, Adedayo expressed his desire to reunite with former coach Daniel Ogunmodede at Kano Pillars. Ogunmodede was appointed the new technical adviser of Kano Pillars last week.
“I am still a Remo Stars player, and I have not made any decision to leave the club,” Adedayo told IGSportzone. “If any offer comes, I will sit down with Remo Stars to discuss what is best for everyone involved. Until then, I cannot say I prefer one club over another. Yes, I would love to reunite with my former coach Daniel Ogunmodede.”
Adedayo received the Player of the Season award during Remo Stars’ NPFL title-winning campaign in 2025.
