ADC looted remnants of El-Rufai’s politics, left him bare – Ayekooto claims
APC Chieftain Accuses ADC of Undermining El-Rufai
Kaduna, Nigeria – Ayekooto Akindele, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has leveled allegations against the African Democratic Congress (ADC), suggesting that the party is attempting to politically undermine Nasir El-Rufai, a former governor of Kaduna State.
Akindele made his claims in a post shared on his official account on the social media platform X on Monday. He did not elaborate on specific details regarding his accusation; however, it appears related to ongoing internal conflicts within the ADC, particularly in Kaduna State.
The ADC is experiencing heightened tensions following the primary elections held earlier this year. Supporters of Alhaji Isa Ashiru, the ADC’s governorship candidate in Kaduna, have reportedly clashed with El-Rufai’s allies over political positions in the lead-up to the upcoming general elections.
In his statement, Akindele asserted, “With what is happening in Kaduna ADC now and even ADC generally, ADC will never wish El-Rufai well again. They’ve looted the remnants of his politics and left him naked! ADC, fear Allah.”
The internal disputes within the ADC highlight the challenges the party faces as it prepares for the electoral season.
