WAFU B U-20 Tourney: Flying Eagles know group foes next week Wednesday
Nigeria’s Flying Eagles are set to learn their group opponents for the WAFU B U-20 Championship during a draw ceremony scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 11, at the WAFU B headquarters in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.
The competition will feature hosts Côte d’Ivoire, alongside Burkina Faso, Benin Republic, Togo, Niger Republic, and Nigeria. This tournament will also determine the teams that qualify for the 2027 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
Head Coach Abdullahi Maikaba’s team, which currently holds the championship title, is expected to depart for Abidjan on Monday, Oct. 9.
