Missing Benue boy found safe in Gombe, NSCDC seeks family

12-Year-Old Boy Found Safe in Gombe After Being Reported Missing
A 12-year-old boy missing from Benue State has been located in Gombe State and is currently under the care of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
The boy, identified as Reuben Mtagher, hails from the Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State. He was discovered in Amada, located within the Akko Local Government Area of Gombe State.
According to the NSCDC, Reuben was found alive and in good health. It has been reported that he speaks only the Tiv language.
The agency noted that Reuben has three brothers named Suur, Mnguember, and Mmen, in hopes of aiding the search for his family.
Currently, Reuben is in the custody of the NSCDC Gombe State Command Headquarters, where officials are working to facilitate his reunion with his family.
The NSCDC has urged Reuben’s parents, guardians, relatives, or anyone with relevant information about his family to visit the Gombe State Command Headquarters for identification and to reclaim the child.
