NNL: Godswill Akpabio United FC appoint Green new head coach

UYO, Nigeria — Edward Green has been named the new head coach of Godswill Akpabio United FC, a team in the Nigeria National League (NNL), the DAILY POST reported.
Green’s appointment was announced at a press conference held at the club’s headquarters in Uyo on Saturday. He has signed a one-year contract with the modest club.
Prior to this role, Green served as an assistant coach at Rivers United. He has also held similar positions with Akwa United and Sporting Lagos.
As head coach, Green will focus on guiding Godswill Akpabio United FC toward promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) in the upcoming season.
