Twin Falls Gunman Dead After Shooting at In-N-Out Burger; Casualties Unclear

Twin Falls, Idaho – A shooting at an In-N-Out Burger restaurant on Saturday afternoon has resulted in multiple fatalities and injuries. Police confirmed that the gunman is deceased, but the full extent of casualties remains uncertain.

Chief of Police Matthew Hicks stated that authorities believe the immediate threat to the community has been neutralized. “The toll is still unclear, and we are in the process of notifying family members,” he said, describing the scene as “very chaotic.”

Witness Lane Koehn reported observing an individual armed with an AR-style rifle exit the drive-through just before being shot at by another person wielding a pistol. Koehn also recounted seeing an employee assist a woman, who appeared to have sustained a gunshot wound to the chest, to safety while they waited for emergency responders. “She was pretty bad off, but I hope she made it,” Koehn said.

City spokesperson Josh Palmer indicated that investigators believe only one assailant was involved and that efforts are underway to identify the shooter and determine if any others participated in the incident.

Idaho Senator Mike Crapo expressed gratitude for the prompt actions of the state’s first responders in the aftermath of the shooting.
