Gov Fintiri approves community markets for 21 Adamawa LGAs

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has authorized the establishment of community markets across all 21 local government areas in Adamawa State. This initiative aims to enhance commercial activities within these regions.
Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa Farauta announced the decision on Wednesday, highlighting the potential benefits of the new markets for local businesses and the economy. During a site inspection for one of the proposed markets in Numan Local Government Area, Farauta noted that the new markets would offer centralized spaces for individuals and companies to engage in trade and grow their enterprises.
Farauta also directed the recently elected local government chairmen to ensure the timely completion of the market projects in their respective areas. She affirmed that the state government would ensure the availability of necessary funding for the initiative.
