Al-Qadsiah Secures Deal for RB Leipzig’s Sani Suleiman
AL-QADSIAH, Saudi Arabia — Saudi club Al-Qadsiah has finalized an agreement with Bundesliga team RB Leipzig for the transfer of winger Sani Suleiman.
Transfer expert Rudi Galetti reports that the deal is valued at between €9 million and €10 million, which includes performance-related bonuses. Negotiations regarding personal terms with Suleiman are currently ongoing.
The 19-year-old player has drawn attention from other clubs, including Sky Bet Championship side West Ham United, but Al-Qadsiah moved quickly to secure the agreement with Leipzig.
Suleiman joined Leipzig from Slovakian side AS Trenčín in January. During his time at AS Trenčín, he made a notable impact, scoring five goals and providing five assists in 50 appearances across all competitions. However, he has yet to make a competitive appearance for Leipzig, as recurring injuries have hindered his progress.
On the international stage, Suleiman was selected to represent Nigeria’s Flying Eagles at the upcoming FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2025.
