Belgium: Durosinmi elated after helping Genk secure draw against Gent
Rafiu Durosinmi expressed his enthusiasm following a key performance that helped KRC Genk earn a 1-1 draw against KAA Gent in the Belgian Pro League on Sunday.
In the match, Gent took an early lead with a goal by Momodou Sonko just 10 minutes into the game. However, Durosinmi equalized for Genk only two minutes after the halftime break.
The Nigerian international has made a significant impact this season, scoring five goals in six league appearances. He was named Man of the Match for his contributions during the game.
“I am happy to have been voted Man of the Match again. It also feels good to be the top scorer at the moment,” Durosinmi said in a statement on the club’s official website. “In football, anything is possible, but you have to believe in it.
