Former Chelsea Striker Criticizes Morgan Rogers’ Performance Despite Scoring
Former Chelsea forward Carlton Cole has expressed criticism of Morgan Rogers following the player’s performance in Chelsea’s recent match against Hull City. Rogers managed to find the net during the game, which ended in a 2-2 draw.
During an appearance on The Dressing Room podcast, Cole highlighted his concerns about Rogers’ play, remarking on the number of times he lost possession during the match.
“He had already scored his goal, but I saw him dribbling into no man’s land,” Cole stated. “He lost the ball so many times. I was like, ‘Morgan, this is not like you. What is going on?’”
Chelsea is set to face Brentford in their next Premier League match on Friday.
