Bandits demand N30m for clerics abducted in Zamfara after prayers for Tinubu [PHOTO]
Bandits have reportedly demanded a ransom of 30 million naira for the release of six Islamic clerics who were abducted in Zamfara State.
The clerics were taken after participating in a special prayer session for President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC), according to conflict reporter D. English Alhaji, who shared this information on Facebook on Tuesday.
The prayer session was organized by Abdulaziz Yari, the Director-General of the APC campaign and senator representing Zamfara West.
Alhaji stated in his post that the bandits are seeking the ransom amount in exchange for the clerics’ freedom.
