When are we going to come as one – Sabinus queries Nigerians over bad governance

Popular Nigerian comedian and skit maker, Sabinus, has voiced his concerns regarding the treatment of citizens advocating for good governance in the country. In a social media post on Tuesday, he highlighted the discouragement faced by Nigerians who seek accountability from their leaders.
Sabinus noted that individuals demanding transparency are often told to “mind their business,” while those who avoid engaging in public affairs still face criticism. He questioned when Nigerians would come together to assert their rights and hold authorities accountable for the benefits and services they believe they are owed.
“A lot is going on in this country, and we’re just keeping quiet. You demand good governance, and they tell you to mind your business,” he remarked. “You try to mind your business, and they still insult you. When are we going to unite and demand what we’re being owed?”
His comments contribute to the ongoing discourse surrounding good governance, citizens’ rights, and the importance of unity in demanding accountability from leaders.
