EPL: Hurzeler urges patience as Azeez awaits Brighton debut

Brighton and Hove Albion manager Fabian Hurzeler emphasized the need for patience regarding winger Femi Azeez’s recovery during a recent press conference. Azeez, who joined Brighton from Millwall on deadline day, has yet to make his competitive debut for the club due to a minor hamstring injury sustained on the opening day of the season while playing for his former team.
Despite the setback, Azeez is reportedly making progress in his recovery. He participated in a friendly match during the recent international break, indicating an upward trajectory in his rehabilitation.
Ahead of Brighton’s UEFA Conference League match against Jablonec, Hurzeler stated that Azeez is not quite ready to return to action. “With Femi, again we have to be patient with him,” Hurzeler said. “It’s not quite clear how long it will take. It seems to be not a big issue, but therefore we have to be patient.”
