The Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) has elected Dr. Ifeanyi Okoye, Chief Executive Officer of Juhel Nigeria Limited, as its 12th president. Okoye succeeds Otunba Francis Meshioye, who completed a four-year term at the association’s 54th Annual General Meeting held on October 7, 2026, in Lagos.

Okoye founded JUHEL Nigeria Limited in 1987, a fully indigenous pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in Enugu, Enugu State. The company relocated to its permanent site in Emene, Enugu, in 2001 and has since expanded to include manufacturing facilities for syrups and capsules. In 2010, JUHEL launched a significant parenteral manufacturing facility in Awka, Anambra State.

An accomplished professional, Okoye is a Fellow of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria and an alumnus of Harvard Business School. He has also attended the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies in Kuru, Plateau State, and was awarded the national honor of Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR) in 2012.
