Turkey: Osimhen’s absence rivals’ only hope of beating Galatasaray to title – Sabuncuoğlu

Turkish football analyst Yağız Sabuncuoğlu has suggested that any team seeking to challenge Galatasaray for the Turkish Super Lig title will need Victor Osimhen to be sidelined due to injury for approximately two months.

Sabuncuoğlu expressed that only a significant absence of Osimhen could provide rival teams with a feasible opportunity to compete for the championship. “If a team wants to become champion in this league besides Galatasaray, they have to hope Osimhen gets injured and doesn’t play for two months at Galatasaray,” he stated in comments reported by Krampon Sports.

Galatasaray currently leads the Turkish Super Lig standings with 25 points from 10 matches.
