Transfer: Man Utd's starlet JJ Gabriel's next club revealed
Manchester United player JJ Gabriel is poised to join Real Madrid in January, according to reports.
Gabriel has traveled to Spain to train with a personal coach to maintain his fitness during the transition. The Daily Mail reports that Real Madrid is optimistic about securing the teenager’s services after monitoring his development since September.
The young athlete has also obtained a European Union passport through his mother’s Cypriot heritage, enabling a smoother transfer process. Upon joining Madrid, he is expected to compete with the club’s Castilla team, which plays in Spain’s third division, as well as participate in the Youth League.
The situation at Manchester United escalated last September when Gabriel and his representatives requested to terminate his academy contract.
