Adamawa road crash kill four women, injure 26 others

Four Dead, 26 Injured in Road Accident in Adamawa State
A motor vehicle accident on Monday evening claimed the lives of four women and injured 26 others along the Yola-Mubi road in Adamawa State.
The women were reportedly en route to the Annual Convention of the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria, held in Demsa Local Government Area, when the tragedy occurred.
Donan Prambe, Deputy Chairman of the Song Local Government Area, stated that she was driving behind the vehicle when it suddenly overturned and rolled into a nearby bush.
“Three women died on the spot, while others were found lifeless, their bodies covered in blood,” Prambe said.
The deceased, along with the injured, were transported to Specialist Hospital in Yola for medical attention. Dr. Dauda Wadinga, the hospital’s medical director, confirmed that they are providing treatment for those who survived the crash.
Suleiman Nguroje, spokesperson for the Adamawa State Police Command, indicated that an update would be forthcoming after consultation with the local division police officer, though no information had been provided by the time of this report.
