Police Service Commission Announces Screening Schedule for Recruitment Candidates

The Police Service Commission (PSC) has announced the dates for physical and credential screenings for candidates who successfully completed the online recruitment registration process.

In a statement released on Tuesday by PSC spokesperson Torty Njoku Kalu, the commission indicated that screenings will take place from March 9 to April 18, 2026, at various locations across the country.

Candidates are advised to log in to the recruitment portal at npfapplication.psc.gov.ng to verify their status and print the necessary documents required for their scheduled screening. These documents must be presented at the screening venue as indicated in the invitation slip.

Essential documents for the screening include the Guarantor’s Form, Application Submission Slip, Invitation Slip, Credentials Screening Form, and Physical Screening Form.

The following items are also required during the screening process:

  • Invitation Slip (with assigned table)
  • Credential Screening Form
  • Original National Identity Number (NIN) printout or card issued by NIMC
  • O’ Level (GCE/SSCE) Certificate
  • Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
  • LGA/State of Origin Certificate
  • Trade Test/Certificate (for specialists only)
  • Completed and signed Guarantors Form with photocopies and passport photographs of referees attached

Candidates are instructed to neatly package original and duplicate copies of their credentials in two separate white flat files, with recent passport photographs included.

The statement further specified that applicants should appear at the designated screening venues dressed in white canvas shoes, white T-shirts, white shorts, and white stockings.
