Armed Bandits Raid Dangani Town in Katsina State
DANGANI, Katsina State — Armed bandits launched a raid on Bangani town in the Musawa Local Government Area on Friday afternoon, looting shops and seizing valuables from local residents.
The attack occurred just before the Juma’at prayer, according to security analyst Bakatsine, who shared details of the incident on social media platform X.
Reports indicate that the assailants stole a variety of items, including mobile phones, cash, fuel, fabrics, and other goods from local businesses. Bakatsine noted that the attackers also confiscated the day’s earnings from traders and other personal property, despite the ongoing Ramadan fasting period.
He raised concerns about the frequency of such attacks and questioned the adequacy of security measures in place to protect the community.
