Actor Yemi Solade reveals how he was paid to fake disability for church miracle

Nollywood actor Yemi Solade disclosed in a recent interview that he once participated in a staged healing miracle, during which he was paid to impersonate someone with a physical disability.

The interview with Feel Right News TV was released on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. Solade, a veteran actor, shared that this event took place while he was still a student and before he gained recognition in the Nigerian film industry.

He explained that he was approached to take on the role of a disabled individual for a so-called healing miracle and agreed to participate.

Recalling the experience, Solade noted, “I have been used for miracle then, when I was not popular. I acted as a cripple, they paid, I used the money to drink; then I was a student. The people involved are still alive; I don’t just want to mention names.”
