Alleged drug trafficking: Allow FBI release records if you’re not guilty – US firm dares Tinubu

A U.S.-based policy advisory and lobbying firm, Von Batten-Montague-York, has called on President Bola Tinubu to permit the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to disclose records related to allegations of heroin trafficking associated with him.

The firm issued this challenge in a statement on its verified X account on Thursday, asserting that Tinubu’s recent efforts to position himself as an anti-drug advocate are disingenuous unless he supports the release of these records.

Dr. Von Batten, the firm’s principal, met with staffers from both Republican and Democratic congressional offices on Wednesday to discuss various topics, including the allegations against Tinubu.

“If President Tinubu is committed to fighting drug trafficking, we challenge him to publicly call for the FBI to release all records concerning alleged heroin trafficking reportedly connected to him,” the statement read.

The firm further urged Tinubu to withdraw his petition in U.S. court opposing the disclosure of these records.
