Enjoy your stay in Borno – Zulum tells corps members amid rising insecurity

Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum encouraged members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) assigned to the state to integrate into the community and make the most of their service year, despite ongoing security concerns.
During a working visit to Biu on Wednesday, Zulum assured the corps members of their safety and emphasized that Borno would be a welcoming environment for them.
“Borno is your home, and enjoy your service,” the governor stated.
Zulum highlighted his administration’s commitment to supporting youth and creating opportunities for their contributions to the state’s development. He emphasized that investing in young people is essential for rebuilding livelihoods and fostering economic recovery.
In addition, the governor paid a courtesy visit to the Emir of Biu, Alhaji Mustapha Umar Mustapha II, where he announced plans to employ 100 graduates from the Biu Local Government Area.
