EPL: Roberto De Zerbi names two players who helped Tottenham beat Chelsea
Tottenham Hotspur secured a 2-0 victory over Chelsea in their Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, thanks to an own goal by Mike Penders and a late strike from Mathys Tel.
In a post-match interview, Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi credited the team’s wingers, Tel and Mohammed Kudus, for their significant contributions to the win. “Mathys Tel had a great game. I think the two wingers won the game,” De Zerbi stated.
He added, “Tel and Kudus made the difference.”
Following this victory, Tottenham climbs to 12th place in the Premier League standings, amassing a total of nine points from eight matches. The team is set to face Crystal Palace in their next Premier League outing later this month.
