The goal followed a crucial penalty save by Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya, who denied Sunderland’s Enzo Le Fe.
Bukayo Saka sealed the victory for the Gunners by converting a penalty after being fouled in the penalty area. With this win, Arsenal now holds 12 points in the league, maintaining a three-point advantage over City, who could equal their total with a win at Old Trafford.
