FCT: Woman beheaded, corpse found in uncompleted building

Panic in Bwari Community Following Discovery of Beheaded Woman
Residents of the Bwari community in the Federal Capital Territory experienced a wave of panic on Saturday after the body of an unidentified middle-aged woman was found beheaded inside an uncompleted building.
The discovery was made after residents noticed a foul odor emanating from the abandoned structure. Concerned, they entered the building, where they found the decomposing body and quickly alerted others in the community.
A resident, who wished to remain anonymous, suggested that the woman had likely been killed two days prior, based on the state of the body. “The offensive smell coming from the building attracted the attention of people living nearby. When we entered, we found the woman’s body without her head,” the resident said.
Another local resident indicated that evidence at the scene suggested the woman may have been overpowered before her death. He noted that a blanket, believed to have been used to transport the body, and ropes found nearby implied that her limbs may have been restrained.
Authorities from the Bwari Divisional Police Headquarters arrived at the scene to secure the area and remove the body for further investigation.
