Gov. Yusuf Urges Kano Youths to Sustain Momentum on Tinubu’s Re-election Bid

KANO, Nigeria — Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf has called on the youth of the state to continue their grassroots mobilization efforts under the Arewa for Asiwaju (A4A) movement in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the 2027 general elections approach.

Yusuf’s appeal came during the inauguration of 528 Tinubu ambassadors on Wednesday at Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano. This initiative aims to bolster the movement’s grassroots framework and enhance its door-to-door campaign throughout the state.

The newly appointed ambassadors are tasked with engaging residents in their communities, mobilizing support among youth and women, and raising awareness about the movement’s goals as the elections draw nearer.

Governor Yusuf emphasized the importance of commitment to their roles, regular communication with the grassroots, and promoting peaceful political engagement. He also highlighted the necessity of safeguarding voters’ rights and choices through lawful means during the electoral process.

The Governor reiterated his support for President Tinubu’s re-election campaign, encouraging the ambassadors to persist in their mobilization efforts and to deepen their engagement with communities across Kano State.
