If you wear Argentina jersey again, we’ll beat you – Maxi Lopez warns iShowSpeed

Former Striker Warns YouTuber Ahead of Argentina’s Semi-Final Match
ATLANTA — Former Argentine striker Maxi Lopez issued a warning to YouTube personality iShowSpeed, advising him against attending La Albiceleste’s semi-final match against England scheduled for July 15.
iShowSpeed had previously appeared at Argentina’s quarter-final match against Switzerland, where he attempted to “jinx” the team following Portugal’s elimination from the tournament after a 1-0 loss to Spain in the Round of 16.
Argentina took an early lead in the quarter-final with a goal from Alexis Mac Allister within the first 10 minutes. However, Switzerland’s Dan Ndoye equalized midway through the second half. The match intensified when Breel Embolo received a red card five minutes later, yet Switzerland managed to hold off Argentina until extra time. Goals from Julian Alvarez and Lautaro Martinez ultimately secured the victory for Argentina.
“Speed, vigilante, don’t show up again,” Lopez stated, referencing the YouTuber’s prior attendance, according to PaseClave. He added, “You tried to jinx us last night. If you put on the Argentina jersey again, we’re going to beat your ass, I’m telling you.”
This match marked the second time in three knockout games that Lionel Messi and his teammates required extra time. They had also gone the full distance in a 3-2 victory over Cabo Verde in the Round of 32. Argentina narrowly avoided extra time in their Round of 16 clash against Egypt, scoring three times in the last 11 minutes, with Enzo Fernandez netting the decisive goal in the 93rd minute.
