Katsina State Hisbah Board Issues Directive on Search Protocols
The Katsina State Hisbah Board has mandated its personnel to secure valid court orders or arrest warrants prior to entering hotels or private residences during official duties.
This directive was communicated in an internal circular distributed to all local government commanders and staff at headquarters. It follows a resolution agreed upon during a recent board meeting and takes immediate effect.
The board emphasized that officers must adhere to legal protocols when conducting searches or entering private properties. Exceptions to this rule apply only when directed by the Commandant General or as outlined by existing laws.
