Lagos Environmental Agency Seals 12 Establishments for Noise Violations
The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) has sealed a dozen establishments across the state for ongoing violations related to noise pollution and other regulatory noncompliance.
Despite multiple warnings and notices to rectify their operations, these businesses continued to breach environmental regulations, prompting the agency to take action.
On Tuesday, September 22, 2026, LASEPA implemented the closures in various locations, including Ogba, Idimu-Ikota, Ejigbo, LASU-Iba Road, Igando, and Agodo-Egbe.
According to a statement from the agency, the closures align with directives from the Lagos State Government aimed at ensuring adherence to environmental laws, safeguarding public health, and fostering a safer and cleaner environment for residents.
LASEPA reported that the establishments in question repeatedly failed to implement required corrective measures or heed directives issued by the agency.
The list of sealed establishments includes:

- Feixiang Plastic, LASU-Ojo Road, Oko Filling Bus Stop
- Marvel Hotel & Suites, Chrisbee Crescent, BRT Bus Stop, Igando
- Keviz Hotel & Suites, Councilor Ajayi Street, Obadore Bus Stop, LASU-Iba Road
- DSN Hotel & Suites, Benson Onyeacholen Street, O’Mark Bus Stop, LASU-Igando Road
- Rudaj Vegetable Oil, Tanimowo Street, Ologufe Bus Stop, Igando Road
- Celestial Church of Christ (Aduragbemi Parish), Adetola Buhari Street, Okerube Bus Stop, Ikotun
- Limas, Aro-Oloye Street, off Abaranje Road, Abaranje, Ikotun
- Nico Hotel & Suites, Ayawo Close, NEPA Bus Stop, Egbe-Isolo Road, Ejigbo
- 10Kobo Night Club, Abanishe Street, off Hostel Road, Agodo-Egbe
- Master Furniture, Coleman Street, Pao Bus Stop, Idimu-Ikota Road
- Nikky’s Executive Bar & Lounge, Governor’s Road, Ikotun
Dr. Babatunde Ajayi, General Manager of LASEPA, emphasized the agency’s dedication to protecting public health and preserving the environment through rigorous regulatory enforcement. He stated that environmental compliance is a shared responsibility and that LASEPA will continue to intensify its efforts against individuals and entities that jeopardize the environment and public well-being.
Ajayi urged business operators, religious institutions, and residents to engage in responsible environmental practices, secure the necessary permits, and comply with relevant regulations to contribute to a cleaner and more sustainable Lagos.
