The Nasarawa State Police Command has launched a focused security operation in the Keana Local Government Area, specifically targeting suspected criminal hideouts in the Chekwe and Kwara forests. The operation, which took place on Wednesday, October 28, involved personnel from the Police Mobile Force, conventional officers, and tactical teams.

According to a statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Ramhan Nansel, the operation commenced in Kadarko and progressed through Angwan Alaku, where officers navigated a river before entering Chekwe Forest.
