Warri Wolves Prepared for Upcoming NPFL Season, Says Assistant Coach
Warri Wolves Assistant Coach Austin Johnny expressed confidence in the team’s readiness for the 2026-27 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season. In a statement to the club’s media, Johnny outlined the team’s goal of achieving a successful campaign.
Johnny highlighted that the club has established necessary structures in preparation for the league’s imminent kickoff. “The season is approaching rapidly, and in a matter of days, the league will commence. We will approach it with all the required manpower, technical expertise, and experience,” he said.
The young coach assured that the technical staff is optimistic about the squad assembled for the season. “We are confident and well-equipped for the task ahead as a team. Our mission is simple – to finish on a high note.”
Warri Wolves will begin their season with a matchup against Bendel Insurance at Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City.
