Former Big Brother Naija Star Tacha Arrested in Lagos
LAGOS, Nigeria — Natacha Akide, widely known as Tacha from the reality television show Big Brother Naija, has been arrested by law enforcement authorities. The arrest occurred at her Lagos residence on Sunday morning, August 30, 2026.
Reports indicate that Tacha was taken into custody after allegedly failing to respond to multiple police invitations. According to media entrepreneur Seun Oloketuyi, who shared the news on Instagram, the former reality star did not honor three police invitations issued between May and August of this year.

“The Nigeria Police Force arrested Tacha early this morning after she was sent three invitations by NPF-NCCC but chose not to respond to them,” Oloketuyi stated in his post.
As of now, the reasons behind Tacha’s arrest have not been disclosed, and the police have yet to issue an official statement regarding the matter.
