Manchester United Welcomes Key Players Back to Training Ahead of Friendlies
Manchester United is nearing a full squad as the team continues preparations at their pre-season training camp.
Captain Bruno Fernandes returned to training at Carrington this week following his participation in the FIFA World Cup with Portugal. He was joined by teammates Diogo Dalot, Noussair Mazraoui, and Matheus Cunha.
Fernandes is anticipated to play in United’s upcoming friendly against Paris Saint-Germain, scheduled for Saturday in Gothenburg. Summer signing Youri Tielemans could also make his debut in that match.
Kobbie Mainoo, Marcus Rashford, and Lisandro Martinez remain the only first-team players yet to rejoin the squad. They are expected to return next week for United’s training in Dublin, ahead of a friendly against Leeds at Croke Park.
