Three Soldiers Hospitalized After Military Vehicle Accident in Kogi State
Three soldiers were hospitalized following a road accident involving a military vehicle and a truck on the Abuja–Koton Karfe highway on June 17. The incident occurred while the troops were on duty along the Jamata–Koton Karfe–Abuja road in Kogi State.
Security analyst Zagazola Makama reported the details of the incident in a post shared on X on Saturday. Sources indicate that the soldiers, who are part of the 12 Brigade stationed in the Pipeline area of Agboja, sustained minor injuries in the crash.
The soldiers received prompt medical attention and are reportedly responding well to treatment at a local medical facility. The military vehicle involved in the accident has been retrieved and taken to the Patrol Base in Gegu for further evaluation.
Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident. Fortunately, no fatalities were reported in the incident.
