Tinubu should face his health, he’s not healthy – Babachir Lawal

Former SGF Raises Health Concerns Over President Tinubu

Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, publicly questioned the health of President Bola Tinubu during an interview on Symfoni TV. Lawal asserted that the public is aware of Tinubu’s health challenges, particularly as the president travels abroad.

Lawal suggested that Tinubu should prioritize his health over his responsibilities as president. “President Tinubu is not a healthy man. Nigerians are not fooled when he goes to France,” Lawal stated. “He has served four years; now it’s time to focus on his health.”

In his remarks, Lawal described Tinubu’s lifestyle, noting that he prefers simple meals such as bananas and groundnuts. However, he also mentioned that Tinubu has a strong affinity for silk cigarettes, which he claims the president has been known to smoke regularly.

Recent developments in Lawal’s political career include his departure from the African Democratic Congress, a move he attributed to alleged election irregularities during the primary that nominated Atiku Abubakar as the party’s presidential candidate.
